Glenn Miller - 1 March 1904 to 15 December 1944
Glenn Miller was a captain in the Army Air Corps. He was a
band
leader in the Service and went missing over the English Channel in
1944.
Many scenarios have been drawn as to just what happened to him.
Nonetheless,
he was a major musical influence in the 40's. There are few people,
young
or old that won't recognize the tunes presented here.
